Athi Ngwenda, a giver at heart. A friend who always makes sure that everyone and anything around him is happy when he’s around. One day he found himself in an unpleasant situation. A situation where he was drugged but nobody was there to save him.
Certain situations can either make or break an individual. Unfortunately with Athi, all odds were against him. He could not cope after the scenario of being drugged and left all alone.
Athi was brave enough to stand up and go seek help. He tried and tried to heal. Things were not working out for him. He fell into a dark phase that led him to severe depression and anxiety.
“Before you board a plane. You always make sure that you put on your life mask. Before you help someone else because at the end of the day you’ll be depleted trying to help someone else. You’ll end up being stuck and realizing that you are all on your own”
